英语周记

　　Previously, I lived in the countryside where the sun always rose. Every morning, I got up early to see the sunrise. As the sun came out, trees, flowers, birds and other animals woke up from their long sleep and smiled gently towards the sun. “What a glorious view!” I whispered. But as I moved to the city, I could hardly see such a glorious view now. Nowadays, with the development of society, the living step is so fast that we are always so busy and we don't even have the time to take a breath. While in our free time, we can do nothing but play computer games. What a dull life it is! I eagerly want to return to our nature.

　　To make things worse, as a result of modernization, pollution is a serious problem. Nowadays we often breathe the dusty air and drink the dirty water. What's more, we always suffer from the noise and the heavy light pollution. I'm really tired of this life. I want to change it. If I have a chance, I will get up early to see the sunrise, in order to embrace our nature.

　　As far as I'm concerned, our nature is our mother. She offers us everything we want or need. If our nature disappears, human-beings will be in great danger. Therefore, we must love our nature unconditionally. Don't always ask too much from her but return her nothing. Moreover, as her sons and daughters, we should always appreciate for her bounty.

　　Dear Friend Thank You For your Love

　　Dear friend Lucy, thank you for your love. We get on well with each other in day-to-day lives. As for my friend, you always help me with my study. When I have a few difficulties, you always encourage me to get over difficulties.

　　Do you remember? Last semester, I forgot to do my homework. So the next day, I wanted to copy your homework. Because I really didnt want to be criticized. But you said you couldnt lend your homework to me, it was very bad solution. Even if I said I would never do it except this time. Please lent me your homework. But you still said maybe it would start a bad habit. I should do my own homework. So I was pretty angry. I said I wouldnt become your friend anymore. A few days later, I thought I was sorry. So I told you to forgot this thing. I wanted to make friends with you. And I was happy you said OK.

　　Now I m certain you are my best friend. Dear friend Lucy, thank you for your love.

　　oday my parents took me to my grandfather’s house. I played with my cousin. Suddenly my cousin suggested going to the park and having a rest. “that’s a good idea.” I said. Then we prepared for the traveling. After lunch, the sky turned dark. After that , it rained heavily. It meant our plan is impossible. What a pity day! Tomorrow is New Year’s Day, my family have had a completely cleaning for two days. Then my father and I decorated our flat and my mother cooked delicious food for our meal. After supper we watched TV program. How happy we were!

　　The day after yesterday I received 20xx yuan from my relatives as my pocket money. I was so happy!

　　I am much better this morning. I am very happy. My cousin came to see me. We played computer games together for a long time. My parents took us to have dinner in the restaurant. I like the food very much.

　　My mother told me that I have to do some home work at home. I did two hours of home work and getting tired. I went to bed to take a nap. When I woke up, it was in the evening. My father and I watched television to-gether for an hour. Then I went to bed.

　　i went to visit the great wall with my friends during the summer vacation. we went there by bus. it took us about two hours to get there. it was hot and windy that day. there were thousands of people. when we saw a group of foreigners,we went up and talked with them. we told them lots of history of the great wall. they were very surprised when they saw that our english were exellent and we knew a lot about the great wall's history. they thanked us a lot and we really had a good time. we felt proud of ourselves and being chinese.

　　我和我的伙伴在夏令营期间去了长城,我们是乘汽车去的,经过两个小时才到的那儿。那日日气很热,风也很大,许多许多的人,当我们看到一群外国人的时候,我们上去和他们攀谈。我们告诉他们许多关于长城的故事,他们非常惊讶我们的英语是如斯的好,而且我们还懂那么多关于长城的故事。他们非常感谢我们,而我们也度过了愉快的一日。我们为自己是一名中国人而感到很自豪。
