Time is the most valuable for people, because you can never own it againafter it goes. When I was little child, my parents always told me that I shouldtresure my time. However, I seldom trusted in them because I thought that I justa little kid and I have plenty of time. But after I went to middle school, Ichanged my view. I spend all the day in school, having classes, and after class,I have to spend some time in study. That is to say, I do not have much time toplay. Therefore, I realize that time is valuable and I should make a good planfor my life, so that I can live a rich life.

She fought for women’s rights, crusaded for the causes of workers, promotedequality for minorities, and championed the underprivileged and the oppressed. She also earned several prestigious awards from countries as diverse as Japan,Brazil, and Lebanon. An impressive list of achievements for any human, all thiswas accomplished by a woman who was blind and deaf.

Helen Keller was born a healthy child in 1880 in Alabama. Stricken byillness at the tender age of nineteen months, Helen lost her ability to see, hear, and speak. Growing up unable to comprehend the world around her, Helenbecame wild and unruly, until her parents found help.

They contacted Dr. Alexander Graham Bell, the famous inventor and teacherof the deaf, who introduced them to an institute for the blind in Boston,Massachusetts. A student there, Annie Sullivan, was asked to help. Annie wouldlater become known as the “Miracle Worker.”

Annie Sullivan taught Helen how to connect objects with letters by spellingwords into Helen’s hands. Helen’s breakthrough came when Annie held her handunder a water pump while spelling “water” into her other hand repeatedly. Helensuddenly understood, and from then on progressed by leaps and bounds.

Having mastered both the manual and Braille alphabets, Helen becameproficient in reading and writing, and began learning how to speak in 10.Helen entered Radcliffe College and, assisted by Annie Sullivan, graduated cumlaude in 1904. She was the first blind-deaf person ever to graduate fromcollege.

Helen Keller spent the rest of her life as a writer, lecturer, and advocatefor the deaf and blind and other disadvantaged groups. She traveled to numerouscountries on behalf of the disabled, and founded the Helen Keller Endowment Fundfor the American Foundation for the Blind in 1930. She died on June 1, 1968, anoutstanding example of the unconquerable human spirit.

  Dear schoolmates,

As I am graduating, I'd like to write this letter to express my feelings before leaving school. Looking back to the past three years, I find that I have become more mature. I have been aware of the importance of learning knowledge, which is beneficial to my future. What impressed me a lot is the help that my teachers and parents offered when I was in trouble, which supported me during the period. Moreover, I regretted that I didn't work harder. From time to time, facing the pressure, I quarreled with my parents, about which I feel sorry and regretful. To live up to my parents' expectation, I will make my effort to work harder in university. It is no doubt that there'll be many challenges waiting for me. However, no matter how difficult it is, I'll spare no effort to overcome it.

When it comes to the suggestion that I can give to you, I hold the belief that in no case should you set aside the study. So far as I'm concerned, it is the determination of working hard that makes you succeed. I wish all of you would realize your dreams.

Good luck to all of you!

From then on, I have dabbled in more and more theoretical works and accumulated great interests in theory study, especially in Marxism.

I have a dream, a dream of my study. I wish devote my whole life and energy into the development of the Marxism. If I have the opportunity to study in abc University, I’ll dabble in as much as document about the specialty as possible. Personally, for today’s China, the first task to the development of Marxism is a process of construction. That’s to say, we should understand Marxism mostly from the aspect of construction and development of social society. Only when our socialistic country has a more rapid and balance development than the capitalistic, we can enhance the attractiveness and persuasion of Marxism eventually.Thank you !
