Today, there is a debate about educating children at home or at school. The opinions vary from person to person.
There is no wonder that some people hold the idea that it’s impossible for them to educate their children at home. Because the traditional education has various advantages over the new one. To start with, education children at school can teach them how to cooperate and get along with each other. And they can also make a lot of friend, they wouldn’t feel lonely. Furthermore, due to school’s systematic knowledge such as math, Chinese, English, physical, chemistry, and biology and so on, thus, children can become all-round students. On the contrary, some insist that children should education at home. The most important is convenience, for they can decide when to study. And some believe that their children may develop some bad habits from other students. What’s more, they think the traditional education isn’t good for their children’s development, they prefer to nurture their children at home rather than at school.
There is a tendency to educate children at home. It’s not easy for us to tell whether the tendency is good or not, for everything has its advantage and disadvantage. As for me, I think there is some potential problem. Children can become reserved and self-centered. Therefore I prefer educating children at school.
