摘要：Starch separators are described for waste water. The water required for thespray nozzle (15) provided on the inlet side for precipitating the sludge is removed,
according to the invention, from a point which lies outside the cross-sectional area of thesettling tank (11) in the flow stream, preferably in the outlet shaft (12) for clear water,separated by a submerged wall, or in a compartment (20) attached at the side of this. Thewater removed from there is suitable for the destruction of foam, and the consumptionof drinking water is avoided.
