摘要：The invention relates to a process for coating metallic articles in which anaqueous, acidic coating mixture containing phosphate ions and ions from the groupcomprising chromate or molybdate ions is applied to the articles, dried and hardened. Itis provided according to the invention that the dried coating and/or a surface layer ornear- surface layer of the metallic base material of the articles is (are) hardened in a gasnitration or gas carbonitration process.
