摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device for vehicle,configured to easily confirm an obstacle in a direction different from an advancingdirection of a vehicle.SOLUTION: An image display device for vehicle 100 includes: aplurality of in-vehicle cameras 10a-10d for capturing the surroundings of a vehicle; anoverhead view image generation unit 62 which converts a plurality of captured images interms of point of view, to generate an overhead view image obtained when thesurroundings of the vehicle is viewed from above; a display unit 70 for displaying theoverhead view image; a touch position detection unit 80 for detecting a touch position bya driver on a screen of the display unit 70; and a display area changing means . Thedisplay area changing means changes an area around the vehicle to be displayed as anoverhead view image, in accordance with a vehicle signal indicating a state of the vehicle.The display area changing means selects an area corresponding to a touch position asa display area, when the touch position is detected by the touch position detection unit80 after the display area is changed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
