摘要：An automation device having a plurality of modules, where at least one firstmodule is configured to supply the other modules electrical power and a second moduleis configured to determine the total power requirement of the automation device,
wherein the second module determines the total power requirement from theinformation relating to the power requirement of the respective module, whichinformation is stored in the other modules, and compares the total power requirementwith a threshold value and initiates measures for reducing the power requirement of atleast one of the other modules based on the comparison result to prevent an overloaddue to improper or inappropriate installation of the automation device in a switchgearcabinet and resultant reduced air convection.
