Lesson 46 Protect Our Environment教学设计

一、教学目标

1.掌握单词:truck, factory 2.了解和运用保护环境的句型: I try to save water in many ways.

We sort our pop cans, beer bottles and waste paper. More people should ride bikes or take buses.

3.通过阅读训练,小组讨论的方式,通过实图片提供的场景练习目标语言,提高英语听说读写各方面能力。 二、教学内容

1.学会运用本课保护环境的方式方法。

2.学习掌握表达保护环境的句型:I try to save water in many ways. We sort our pop cans, beer bottles and waste paper. More people should ride bikes or take buses.

3.巩固代词it的用法。 三、教学重难点

1.重点:掌握一些关于保护环境的词和表达方式; 2.学会介绍自己了解的环保知识。 四、教学思路

本课时的教学内容是冀教版八年级下册英语第八单元的第四课时,主要涉及保护环境的介绍。在授课之前先让学生提前预习并搜集一些环保知识,也可以询问同学如何进行环保。课上可以通过让学生小组合作的形式进行相互交流;然后教师通过幻灯片、图片向学生展示环保问题以及保护环境的情况,并让学生用英语讨论主人公是如何环保的,简单介绍自己应该如何进行环保,培养学生的环保意识。 五、教学准备:

设计教学PPT,录音机,多媒体,图片和单词卡片。 六、教学过程 StepⅠ.Leading in

[设计意图] 利用学生学过的内容,从询问如何保护家乡的环境开始,轻松进入语境,自然地进入谈论保护环境的新话题。 StepⅡ.Presentation

PPT依次展示新单词,教师领读,学生齐读,男女生分开读,一个一个读。

[设计意图] 通过教师领读帮学生掌握正确发音。学生通过各种方式读单词,帮助他们更好地掌握词汇,为之后的课文学习打基础。 StepⅢ.Listening (1) Listen and tick.

StepⅤ.Knowledge points 1.We use them again and again. again and again 再三地,反复地,不断重复的意思。 是个副词。 也可以说over and again 或者over and over again。 I warned her again and again. 我一再警告她. 2.In fact, if each of us makes a small change in our life,we can make a big Ⅴdifference to our environment. ◆in fact 意思是“事实上”,常用作副词短语,一般在句中作状语。 In fact, it is very hot.事实上,天很热。 【拓展】 in fact还可以表示“确切地说”。 He is not happy, in fact, he is very sad. 他不高兴,确切地说,他很伤心。 ◆句中make a difference to…意思是“对……造成影响”,difference前面还可以放一些修饰词,如big, some, great等。 Education has made a great difference to him.教育对他产生了巨大的影响。 【拓展】 (1)make no difference意思是“没有影响”。 That you are happy or not makes no difference.你的喜怒无关紧要。 [设计意图] 学生通过阅读课文,了解重点内容,并且通过回答问题来巩固对课文的理解和掌握;朗读课文,进行填空练习,加深对课文的理解。 StepⅥ.Discussing

What are good ways to protect our environment? Katie's suggestions: What can we do?

学生分组讨论为了保护我们的环境,我们可以做什么:凯蒂的观点以及我们可以怎么做? 让小组代表分享展示观点

[设计意图]:通过讨论既让学生清楚作者保护环境的措施,也让学生自己思考该如何爱护环境,同事在讨论和展示中让学生的口语得到锻炼。 教师总结展示爱护环境的一些措施:

1.Turn lights off.

2. Collect cans and paper, sell them for recycling. 3. Try our best to save energy. 4. Ride a bike to school. 5. Use both sides of the paper.

6. Shouldn’t throw litter away everywhere StepⅦ.Practicing

Look at the sentences with some missing words.Please use proper words to fill them.
