一、 出国目的 去美国学什么？做什么？

1. Are you going to study in USA？ What will you study in the US?/ What will you do in USA?/ What do you want to study in USA? 这是100%会问的问题，一般第一个问题就是这个

I am going to get a syracuse university Master's degree in the United States.

I'll study for my master's degree in syracuse university.

2. How do you know this Univ.?一般就是网上查的啊，教授推荐的啊！

I have read their materials, then i have found it on the internet.

3. Why do you choose this Univ.? 这是问题是重中之重的问题，是100%会问到的，必须回答出自己的特色来，上学校和系里的网站，好好研究一下。为什么选择这个学校，一般是从专业和教授入手。

There are a few reasons for my choice: first, this university is one of the best schools in the world. Second, the program this school has fits my major and interest well. Third, this university has some of the best professors and equipment in chemincal eng. To be able to study under these professors is really an honor of mine.

4. What is you major? 这个问题要先回答本科的专业然后回答去美国读的硕士/博士的专业，按照录取信和i20上写的专业回答。具体小方向，签证官问了再说。

My major is chemical engineering. I was interested in this field when i was very young

5. Why do you like your major?

I was interested in chemisty when i was very little, and then i had the opportunity to study chemical engineering in Wuhan institute of technology . I took the chance and i've never regretted it.

6. What will you do with your work for BS/MS/PHD？ How long will you study in USA?

I will fully use the degree I will get ot seek better opportunities in China and try to apply what I've learned into my real life usages.

I will study in USA for about 2 years. That is th duration of my master's program.

7. What is the difficult class do you have?(指你本科的专业)

However, i tried my best at this class.

8. Why do you change you major? What's the difference between your major now and the major in USA?

9. Why do you want to study /go to the USA? Why do you choose to go abroad at this time? Why do not you study/Bachelor/ master degree in china?出国目的，要回答出自己的特色来。

It is a common sense that USA is the strongest contry in the world nowadays. The universities in USA are among the elite schools in the world that provide students with advance theory on almost every subject there is ,especially in the field of chemistry engneering. While most professors outside the USA are struggling to understand the subject themselvs, the professors in USA has already developed it to a very high level. That is why i want to study in USA.(是不是太假了？)

I have worked one year. As you know, nowadays everybody has a bachelor degree during our undergraduate years. That really not have competitive in the society any more. There wasn't a lot of need for people having high degree in the society. But things have changed and i need to recharge myself to be able to handle the new challenges. Since i am still therefore, i want to pursue master's degree in order not only to learn more knowledge but also to lay a solid foundation for my future.

in my field, universities in the United States are far more advanced than those in China. Therefore, if i want to get the advantages in China over other competions, i have to learn more than they have. I know that many universities in china offer first-rate graduate programs in chemical engnieering, i am very proud of it. However, i want some change in my life. I have been living in china for all of my life and i want to experience new things, to see the world outside of china, to learn a new culture. That is why i chooes the united states for my futher study.

10. Do you want to pursue a doctoral degree? Do you want to your further study in USA?

I have applied to 5 and they are polytechnic u, u of texas, u of oklahoma, u of cincinnati, syracuse u,2 other schools admitted me, however, i choose this school because it has the best program.

二 目前现状

12. What are you doing now? /What/where are you studying now?/when will you graduate?

I have worked in the .Hubei Bo Ruijia Pharmaceutical..company for 1 year as a .Product Inspector.however i found the knowledge that i learnt during my undergraduate years is not enough for me to use any more. I cannot get a better promotion in the company with a bachelor degree. Therefore, i have decided to go to usa to study for a master's degree.

13. What is your academic background? When/where will you get your Diploma?

I got bachelor degree from wuhan institute university in 2009.

三．资金问题

对于自费的学生来说， 资金这是直接关系到签证成败的大问题

14. Who is your sponsor? /what do your parents do? What is your father/mother’s job? What about you parent’s income and work station? Who will give you the financial support?

My mother is my sponsor. Since my fellowship will cover $...., my mother will provide me with the rest of the necessary money. She want me to concentrate all myself on the study and return to her side as soon as possible. She is the Business Manager, mainly in charge of the sales of the products and related work.

15. Do you have certificate of Deposit? /bank statement? How much deposit do your parents have? How much deposit do your parents have? How much of your tuition fee? How much money is in your bank?

This is a deposit certificate from , which states that i have RMB in deposited in the bank. I believe with my mother's help and my scholarship, the money will be enough for me to spend during my study in USA.

16. If there is no financial support from school during the second year, what will you do?(针对有奖学金的学生)

Do you have any certificates of deposit? OK, but I have 5 sheets of certificates of deposit, so I make a checklist of them. 把asset list放上面，5张存款证明放下面递给了VO。还有存折一起给

Do you have house certificates?

Your parents have to pay a lot of money for your study, how could they earn it?--my parents have worked for many years, so it is not a problem for them.

四．回国计划与移民倾向

18. What is your plan? What will you do after graduation?查一下你这个专业的就业情况，写出你的短期和长期职业规划

I only have a rough plan now, because i cannot tell what my future will be. However, i have a definite goal that is to come back to china----my motherland to start my career. The degree i am going to get in usa will help me a lot on achieving my goal. It will help me find better opportunities in china.

19. If a company offers you a position with good salaries, what will you do?

Why you come back to china instead of finding a job in America?

A person needs only a certain amount of money. The rest of it is just for her to show off. Even if i can get more money in usa, what else will i get? If i stay in usa i have to be far away from my family. My emotional world will be empty. There are some things money cannot buy in this world and i donot want to lose them.

I have planned to come back to china, to my family and to my friends. I believe china still has a lot of upside for people like me to discover. Therefore, there are lots more opportunities for me

21. Can you explain why 90% Chinese students didn't come back?

I am an individual. I only need to be responsible to my own action. I cannot speak for other's action and what they do will not influence my decision.

22. Do you have any relative in USA? Have you been to USA? Have you applied immigration?

No,i donnot have any relative in usa. I have not had the chance to go abroad, this time will be my first step to go outside of china if i can get the visa.

23. What is your purpose for the visa?

My purpose for this visa is for you to give me a chance to get better education in usa.

24. What do you intend to do if your visa is declined?

Yes! (明智！没有继续说未来计划，签证官没问，不要主动说招惹麻烦的话题，这点在签证官面试中很重要。)

V0:DO you kown XXX

Ho, it is a famous university, a very beautiful place, will you....

She will go to usa to see me sometime next year in her school holidays.(这个问题是关键，简单又有细节，让签证官相信他去美国的计划都是真实的)

2 VO:would you please briefly introduce your major?

签证官多少都会问起专业，能否抓住这个机会是关键。这个时候要转守为攻，充分表现对专业的了解。美国人虽然自大但是非常欣赏有骨气的人。

Not just the reason! I have another important reason which is that my future tutor xxx does the same research and has the same background as i ...(选它主要是学术原因，同时又没有否认不是为了那份钱)

7 签证官转过身不听你说时，大声说： do you want to hear? (提出意见而不是闭口不谈，实际是展示个人尊严，很有影响力。)
