摘要：1. Method of producing a black matrix layer between the phosphor areas onthe inner surface of the faceplates of colour picture tubes, in which the inner surface ofthe faceplate is coated with a photoresist, in which this photoresist it exposed andportions of the photoresist are removed, in which thereafter the entire inner surface ofthe faceplate is provided with the black matrix layer which is formed from a graphitesuspension from which portions are removed where the phosphor areas are to beformed, use being made, as the diluting agent, of ion-containing water whose conductivitylies above 10**-5 omega **-1cm**-1, preferably between 5.10**5 omega **-1 cm**-1 and5.10**-2 omega **-1cm**-1, and in which the cations and/or the anions are at leastdivalent, characterized in that only the developer solution for the black matrix lagercontains the ion-containing water.
